Mine is not like the others, i still am able to drive it. From what I found until now it probably needs calibrating the steering angle sensor. Mine is out of warranty so I will be trying to do the calibration on it myself to see if that solves it
So having an issue with the power steering , it has a tight spot at 1oclock which if held at that point then goes soft again , it's like that at that spot there is no help from motor
Yes true as you said but last night found a video of a guy which will be making an open board , in my case we are going to change just this board as he is calling it the logic board and hoping that changing that would fix my problem
Hi. Any tech here can confirm if it's possible to programme used inverter on MG4? It would be stupid and wasteful that the inverter could be used only once.
But even an ICE car's ecu has an immobilizer, yet they are still programable, and even VIN can be changed , and seeing that the one on the MG is a bigger job to replace than a normal ECU I don't see why they didn't make it reprogramable. These things will make the MG the last EV I get cos these...
But in normal cars you can reprogram the immobilizer and also replace a vin , so why in these where it is even a bigger job to remove this, compared to a normal ECU; you cannot reprogram them? Just MG getting greedy and wanting to make money selling new ones?
Question for the techs , are the modules programable if bought 2nd hand and are already vin coded to another vehicle ? I purchased a motor with module and we fit it to the car but now when i select drive only the parking brake is removed and it will not go into drive. I think as the motor...
Dont think that one will disconnect the high voltage , it should look something like these and what i found that it is somewhere under car near batteryor under rear seat
I would like to disconnect the high voltage to change motor on car
I had my oil changed every 60k km, and the drive does not worry me as we have quite slippery roads so it doesn't put much strain on the gear, in fact it will spin slightly. The only thing that worries me is when there is a step on the road surface, and the wheel, when it's in the air that split...
