My Trophy also has this issue, kick to open fine, kick to close two beeps as if it will close then doesn’t. Have to press the button.

This also happens on my MGS5 brand new last week - kick to open fine, kick to close 2 beeps then nothing, have to use the tailgate button which is also too high for my 5ft tall wife to reach. Key fob or on the infotainment for her

Yes I meant 11kw So in future for a faster charge I should use the 7kW charger to get 6.6kW using the supplied charging cable rather than the 11kW charger where I will only get 3.4kW.

So what is the actual charging specification of the battery? How fast can it charge on AC? On the MG website it just highlights fast DC charging.

I have e-on chargers 5 min walk away which had 7kW & 22kW chargers at £0.45 so I thought using the 22kW would be quicker. Will try the 7kW charger next time I charge 👍🏻
