Trophy Connect Long Range 23 plate.
About 200-220 miles at the minute.
Hilly, wet and cold where I live. Heater on ALL the time. Drive in comfort. Don't care about the range.
Just go back to your combustion engine days. By that, I mean you only had a guage for your fuel. No percentages. No range. When the red light came on, you put some fuel in. Those were your happiest days of driving.
You never worried about your mpg. Never worried that it was less efficient in...
I'd suggest one of two things.
1. Borrow another granny charger to take it out of the equation
2. Take it back to the dealer. Plug it in there, using their charger as well, see if it persists.
I will always state my case against an ICE engine.
My Galaxy did:
45 mpg summer
40 mpg Autumn / Spring
35 mpg Winter. (Heater on full)
Petrol drivers never notice this.
Expect the same on a Long Range vehicle.
280 Summer
240 Autumn/ Spring
200 Winter
Anything above that is a bonus.
As...
Nope.
I have mine on the Bluetooth. Then my lad wants a lift and wants to connect his.
Here begins the ultimate faff
Disconnect mine. It then recognises his and won't play anything. We then have to manually turn off the car BT. Then go into settings to disconnect his. Then reconnect his ...
Can you two take your petty, unrelated, argument out of fletchj's thread?
In answer to fletchj, you don't state which app you are using.
I always use the MG app and not the ohme one. It hasn't failed me yet.
It starts and stops at the right times set.
Never used the ohme app
Today I checked it at 50% and I've done 136 miles since 100%. The GOM said I've got 120 left, when, in fact, I've got 136 miles left. Simple maths really. Computers just make it difficult
Do NOT go by the GOM.
Reset your long range after a charge. Check your long range after 50% of use. If you are averaging 3.6 mi/KW then you know you have 180 miles of range, per charge.
Your last car had a GOM called a fuel guage. You had no idea how many miles you had left, just fill it when...
One connection is fine and will automatically connect.
My son gets in the car and wants to play Black Sabbath. Disconnecting mine and then him connecting is a bit of a pain. I have to turn mine off, disconnect the car Bluetooth, then reconnect. Then he has to turn his off and back on again...
ZS TROPHY CONNECT
Pros:
Easy to get in and out of.
Boot space
Economy (Eco / regen 1)
The car hotspot is fabulous. (I live very rural).
I had the last of the panoramic sunroof model. Incredible light in the cabin.
Cons:
Hard to get anything out of the door bin while driving. The door closure...
Here's what I get
Summer 4.0 m/kw
Autumn /spring 3.5 m/kw
Winter 3.2 m/kw
My Galaxy diesel would do
Summer 45 mpg
Autumn /Spring 38 mpg
Winter 32 mpg
The ICE engine has to warm up as well. The EV haters never take this into account
Doesn't matter what type of car you have.
AC takes 10%. Heater...
"Tha manual explains the process."
Don't take away my manhood. Manual?
Get in. Press buttons. Then cry "Oops".
Yes. The actual engagement of "cell balancing". Can take hours.
Which kind of negates the argument of "Don't charge above 80% or it will damage your cells. Oh, and also don't run...
