They could potentially be warranty updates. Speak to your nearest dealer and get them to update via warranty if they agree. I don’t think you need to speak to Tusker for warranty issues as they shouldn’t be charged for them. Just approach your MG dealer directly.

Click on the activate button in the engineer menu Then click on clear data & exit Reboot the head unit, and then when it is back up on the settings menu on the right near the bottom is an activate button. Click that and activate the top option. Then the next if it hasn’t done it...

Thanks, updated on the software update thread, but it worked. The car was already on 68.4.7.0, just a clean install of R63 , and also the delete of the activations and re-activated tethered to a phone.

Already on R63, I did a factory reset, and then reconfigured. Carried out the R63 upgrade over current R63. Rebooted. Went into the engineer activation menu. Deleted the current activations. Rebooted again.Tethered to the mobile phone, and then activated the AVN and Map. Rebooted. It now works...

I have the same issue, I am also in 68.4.7.0 Could you explain the reset of the unit (factory reset in the engineering menu?), and what you use to do a clean install of R63? Can I use the R63 update media, or do I need something else?

Being a noob to all of this, how is that done? SIPS?

I had my MG4 xpower delivered a couple of weeks ago with R63 installed. It had a problem with the maps so the guys at the dealers suggested me to do a factory reset for some unknown reason. Of course the weather now doesn’t show and errors with “Implementation is falled, please try again later”...
