I can understand the 12V battery dying but during charging seems a strange time for it to happen. Isn't the car supposed to charge the 12V from the main battery during use or charging? I thought the most danger of a dead 12V would be from coming back to the car after it had been sitting idle for...

Sorry, I meant seeing the car in front of the car in front. But in general, however it works, I'd be turning off collision assist, lane keeping and ACC when snowing. Unexpected steering jerks or braking could be very dangerous.

Teslas do this mostly or purely with cameras, so I suspect it's the same. The bottom line is theres no way I'd trust the MG ACC system in snow given the patchy way all the driver assistants work at the best of times, I think for everyone's safety it would be best to disable them and concentrate.

I used the supplied crossover, it worked fine - just stuff it in the hole next to the tweeter, there's plenty of room. (Not your exact speakers, some Vibes, but they look similar). I think the original crossover capacitor is integrated into the old tweeter (if there's one at all).
