Not sure about where you live but 1st stop should be MG (unless for some strange reason out of warranty) and as stated a known issue (not sure why wanting to spend your $ as already paid once for the whole vehicle)

In Australia our metic measurement is in kilometres so 12000 kilometres (the k is short for kilometres) is not 12 million miles but 7,456 miles
