    Reduction Box Oil

I did mine last week, I posted it on another thread, it was dirty and it had metal on the plug. Now my MG5 has a full service history and the 4th and 5th service were done elsewhere and last year! So looking at my oil it hasn't been done! I trust my current dealer but I own a garage so why...

MG5 State of reduction drive oil…

So here is the promised picture, 60k its dirty but not that bad, the magnetic plug only had a bit of steel on it. I am not concerned about it at all i have seen far worse in ZF auto boxes at the same mileage. It took longer to drop the covers and put them back than drop the oil and replace it...

MG5 State of reduction drive oil…

Yes we test the brake fluid in the garage at every service. We normally bleed the system every time it has a pipe opened for brake work

MG5 water/moisture in the battery compartment!

Unfortunately it appears that this battery pack is letting in water so isn't waterproof, where its come from is the issue. I have heard of leaks on Tesla's batteries through a bad seal, so given the water is clear maybe it's condensation?

    Battery Failure and Repair History

I stripped an I3 pack a few years ago only took a couple of hours. Previous to that it was the old Valence lifepo4s for the London buses, we did a load of packs in a day, I was surprised how many 36 volts batteries had been replaced under warranty. Ias I stripped the packs I kept those ones back...

MG5 water/moisture in the battery compartment!

This is worrying that it's not waterproof, I believe you when you say it's not been wading as we see leaves in back bumpers on service it just happens

    Battery Failure and Repair History

I would have thought that another vertu dealer would have had the tools required? 8 months is absolutely rubbish for what an independent HVRA would have done in days
