Having some major issues with my mg5

I think @Lovemyev's first line indicates the likely culprit. A short time after I took delivery of my FL MG5 – during the initial 'get to know your new car phase', when you look into every nook and cranny – I noticed I had something very similar in the boot (though nowhere near as much as in...

    Check HV battery

@Gomev is quite right. You can generate all manner of 'funny' issues by too quick a start up. Only rarely does it seem to be the same reported error though. Front camera not working, collision avoidance not working, ... Must make a list. Doesn't bode well for the quick getaway when you are being...

Utterly unbelievable customer support! Anyone from MG like to comment?

I was thinking those prices perhaps included labour, but then I had a closer look at the invoice and labour is charged separately. I know the battery (presumably a C2032) was subsequently credited (so zero cost on invoice), but that's at least a pound over the odds; and the oil (£34/L from B&G)...

    New owner, few questions

    Key battery warning

Did the sticker have a graphic of a baby with the tongue stuck out? They (Duracell anyway) have started adding repulsive-tasting stickers to CR2032 batteries and a few other coin-type batteries to prevent ingestion by toddlers.

    Exterior mirror diagram - request

This (from the MG ZS EV forum) is the nearest thing I could find. Any help? https://www.mgevs.com/threads/automatic-closing-of-mirrors.1208/

MG5 complete failure after wet road

I can confirm that my FL MG5 had no issues negotiating water at least 6 inches deep in the recent local floods (and that's generally as deep as I'm prepared to go just in case I start to float away!). My neighbour's electric mini similarly had no issues negotiating a similar depth or greater...

    Speeding. 🙄☹

There is a speed camera in Hereford on the A465 at what is no longer the Three Counties Hotel. Now it may be apocryphal, but I've heard tell of people being done for 31 mph through that camera. Many locals (and I mean Hereford frequenters, it being a rural county) slow right down to well under...

Mg5 23 plate trophy voice commands?

I haven't got around to exploring this aspect yet, and probably won't for a week or two. But you piqued my interest. There's info in the Navi manual (all about info't screen) that may be pertinent; and then read this thread, which I presume won't be too different.

    Switching MPH to km/h

    As @simorgan42 says. In the FL MG5 it's Settings | General | Units | km/miles

Buying a new MG5 Trophy LR?

Yes, indeed. I used that dial only last night in fact. As much as I can, I look well left to the kerb when I see LED lights approaching. They don't dazzle as such, like normal lamps on high beam do, but there's something about their intensity. They will set a visual aura off if they catch me...
