I couldn't be bothered with all the pfaff, I just use Google Maps for navigation. as for working out charging stops, my bladder does that for me, not the car. I just sit back and let MG Pilot do the rest. I do have a dongle though, not a cheap one it's an OBDLink LX from Amazon.

Got me once or twice. Needs a good slam to close it fully. You will get a red outline on the car in the centre of the "speedo" screen.

If you stop the car and then hold down he home button (not the screen one) for 5 secs it will turn off the radio. As other s have said it does go off after 10 mins though unless you lock the car.

All single phase home chargers will give you 7kW or in my case 6.8kW as that's the limit of the car.

Not all a waste of time. At hotels for overnight charges and theme parks for long stays. You don't have to be with the car when it's charging. Now just rapids only at hotels are a waste, for one 50 kW rapid you could have seven 7kW chargers

Some so called 7 kW chargers can be throttled to 3kW, I've come across a couple. Make sure you have turned OFF scheduled charging or it wont start as the allotted time may not have been reached, been caught out a couple of times. If you're going on a long trip then you'll be using rapids (DC)...

Broke mine when I tripped over the charge cable in the dark. I finally got it fixed at the dealer at the next service. You have to remove the front of the car to get et it to fix a new one. A minor service, MOT and flap replacement cost me about £450. IMO not worth the hassle of trying to fix it...

There is an app out there called "Need to Charge" but it needs the car owner charging that you want to disconnect to also have the app too.
