You don't even need to be an Octopus customer to get the card, once you get it just set up a payment method and you're good to go. you don't get the customer discount though.

The S5 does use regen to slow when using ACC.

Just noticed today that when using ACC and the car has come to a stop behind a vehicle with ACC still engaged, I noticed that the indicators flashed a few times. Is this normal?

I've used some so called 7kW chargers but the speed was throttled to 3.5 kW by the charger, it's probably not your car that is the problem.

Anyone else think the DAB radio is rubbish compared to the ZS. It drops out all the time even on Radio 2 which makes it unlistenable. FM is not much better so have to use my data on Spotify.

In my ZS I use ACC a lot which uses the brakes to slow so they got regular exercise so were still in great condition when I traded the car for the S5 . I've noticed that the S5 uses regen to slow in ACC so will have to regularly give the brakes something to do. Not tried OPD yet though.

The more you drive it the better it will get at "Guessing" what your range is for a specific charge. They don't call it a "Guess O Meter" for nothing.

Is it possible to get the car to start with KERS set to 3 and not 1? It seems to remember everything else.

It happens on my ZS, S5 here soon, a quick blip on the accelerator and it will cancel. Looks like a software bug not yet ironed out.

After a few times of it not closing properly I've found that two things happen, 1. there is a tell tail on the display which shows the car with a red line at the rear where the boot is and 2 the cruse control doesn't work.
