No. I have a manufactured 2022 PHEV and the issue has been there since purchase, and it's still there now, and the dealer says that's just how it works.
Had exactly the same problem once - completely freaked me out. The answer seems to be to turn the car off and on without putting your foot on the brake.
No problem getting it looked at under warranty. They replaced the button. But this has not fixed the issue and it still doesn't open some of the time. I don't know what else can be done.
Only the frequencies. We have DAB and DAB+ in Australia, but the car can't do it. We have RDS in Australia, but the car can't do it. It's hard to believe they could even source something this bad to put in the car. My aftermarket Pioneer sound system from 2014 in my previous car could do RDS!
Yes, available from Total Tools. This is what I got: https://www.totaltools.com.au/208727-ecoflow-2400w-2048wh-delta2-max-power-station-battery-efdelta2max
Can't help you with the size battery you will need.
Not directly, but...
You could get an EcoFlow battery, and charge that from the 12V socket, and then run your appliance from the EcoFlow. The MG will keep the onboard battery charged from the main car battery. That would be enough for a few lights and a kettle.
I have an MY22, so it's the old one. I've followed the video instructions, and can get to the first engineering screen. I finally got it to work by tapping to the left of the E. I've made the changes, and will see if it makes any difference.
