Just got the confirmation that the vehicle has been allotted to me and is expected to be delivered in this month! The dealer said that the car is yet to be shipped from their plant ~450 kms away. Here's to hoping.

I think it was more of a pressure from the Indian government to manufacture in India than to relieve stress from MG's factories. I wouldn't have any information on the automation levels in the plant.

From India. Waiting for them to actually start delivering. Ordered Dec 2021. However in India, the cars are being assembled at a local plant. We are just importing the components. So the timelines will be different as compared to the UK.
