I would avoid Glyn Hopkin. I have only experienced very poor customer service and their 1st service costs vary tremendously between their branches, as you have demonstrated. I would offer 2 alternatives: 1) Brown and Gammons in Baldock. £114 for the first service. Really knowledgable people...

Just use a small screwdriver and gently push through the holes from underneath. Very easy to do

What adapter are you using?

In my experience the quality of the cable is paramount. Belkin is mentioned on threads elsewhere as is the VW connector which I use. I had similar issues, but once I got a decent cable I have never had a seconds issue.

All my enquiries were made on the phone. I have written to Glyn Hopkin’s customer service department for an explanation but I don’t expect a response…they are pretty crap on that score. i will keep you posted on progress. Thanks for the screen shot, very interesting and most useful.

I have experienced something similar. I've been unable to narrow down the actual cause. It was still happening with the back seats down and the parcel shelf removed. i kinda fiddled around with the inside of the boot lid, pressing, prodding etc and the noise has stopped at least for the time...

CarPlay continues to frustrate me . All seemed okay in the early days, but its got worse over time. It either doesn’t connect to my iPhone 13 at all, although the phone does show it is charging through the cable, or it connects for a split second then disconnects. I’ve tried various cables...
