Well good luck to everyone who’s pre-ordered that you’ll eventually get your cars. Unfortunately I’ve had to cancel my pre-order this morning as a change in personal circumstances means that the money I’d set aside needs to go elsewhere. I’m sure I’ll be back (when the financial side of things...
MK2 has been out a few months now ( slightly changed front bumper and lights and lots of improvement on range / efficiency) but the MK1s are still going very quickly. I went to view one yesterday in Bristol (‘23 4S saloon in red up at £73k) when I checked this morning it had been sold (for...
If not they’ll be losing my custom for sure. It’s not like they (MG) didn’t know there’d be UK legislation etc to get through. I’m personally hoping there'll be an influx of traded in Taycan 4Ss in early Sept that come in below my £70k limit. Can’t say MGs customer service fills me with confidence.
Agree re the looks - M3 (esp white) is boring. The new M3P at least has a proper rear spoiler and defuser and a front lip to differentiate it from the 2 ‘normal’ models. The ‘highland’ facelift has IMHO made it look quite a bit sleeker and more modern.
I haven’t seen the Cyberster in the flesh...
Only reason why I’m not getting one is my last 2 cars were a 21’M3LR and then a 22’M3P (got a really good trade in a few months ago so haven’t had a car since then in prep for the Cyberster!). And the one I’d want is a red with white interior, which is what I just traded in. So apart from the...
Not here! Ordered day one and zero confirmation of anything - emails to dealer are replied with, ‘when we know anything we’ll pass it on’.
There are meant to be some in the UK but they need to sort some governmental crap out before they can go to dealers as either demo cars or sales.
The...
In exactly the same position. Ordered day 1 (GT in red with black/red interior) and heard absolutely nothing from the dealer, unless I email, and he says I'll let you know as soon as I know anything. I know it’s not the dealers fault but some clarity from MGUK to dealers that they could pass on...
Speaking to a salesperson today who said MG updated dealers last night that cars were arriving in the country soon and demo ones would be at dealerships by end of August. There are also ‘some’ customer cars with that delivery but the dealers hadn’t been told what colour combos yet so couldn’t...
At least you’re getting some idea of dates - here in the UK no one seems to know anything about any cars (showroom, demo or customers). Someone on Facebook has been given a date by their dealer but mine (and 2 others I’ve rung this morning) reckon that they can’t see anything on the MGUK system yet.
Similar to mine - £705 (just cancelled multicar as I’m carless until the Cyberster) but £630 if I add the house back in! Just need a bloody delivery date for the car now!!!
I really wouldn’t count on that as there doesn’t seem to be a dealer around who’ll commit to any sort of timeframe for orders (and it could well be they genuinely don’t know and MG are keeping everyone in the dark). Just my scepticism but I’m expecting it to be at least October, even for those...
if the 3.2 isn’t achievable with the UK spec vehicles then MG shouldn’t be advertising it as so on their UK website - which they currently are. I suspect (and hope) it’s similar to the Tesla M3P. - US cars and Shanghai cars both have same 0-60 of 2.9, but have different power outputs due to...
