That's really helpful, thank you! I really don't know why it needs to be this difficult for the customer to get basic functions from a car but all the suggestions have been great. I'll report back to let y'all know what has worked.... after I've spent even more money on the damn thing! :)

Agreed. A bit misleading. Very weird for a car to not have an onboard sat nav, especially when it means relying on an unstable Android Auto! I knew I should have forked out more in the first place! :)

I've been trying to find the inbuilt sat nav for my (leased) MG4 EV LR, but my infotainment home screen does not give me the option of a Navigation button, even though the NaviManual and User Manual tell me this is where I can find it. The manual says I will find it on the home screen but...

Can anyone recommend a wireless dongle that I can use? Even a good quality charger/data cable doesn't seem to work with my Moto g8 phone :(

Has anyone found a solution to this? Is it a software update on the actual car that is needed? I've tried so many cables and 4 different phones and it just keeps disconnecting after 2 minutes each time. Not losing signal, not going over bumps, using Android 14.....
