MG service centre said: it needs a new temp sensor, They also did a software update which now means “Hi” actually works and pumps out heat now. So at least I have some heating till they replace the sensor!

To add insult to injury… the outside temp was saying 56 degrees, and the popup showed up saying “ambient temperatures are low, do you want to switch battery heating on”!

For me, even “hi” blows cold. We’ll be buying blankets for the 4 hour drive home on Monday…

As subject says: The external air temp display is saying 40+ degrees, the iSMART app says 13 (which is about right). The heating will not heat - even on “Hi”. Has made for a pretty uncomfortable drive to Cornwall this half term! I’m posting here in the hope that someone knows some magic...

Flip to radio and back again! That worked for me - thanks!! Of course you can only do this using the little source selector arrows from the front screen. If you’re in BT audio mode, the “detail” screen forgets all about the fact the car has a radio. (Standard mg4 trophy, 2023 model)

I’ve just reversed into the latch on my shed door and it’s cracked the plastic light bar (and also dinged the number, but I’m not so worried about that). Any smart ideas how I might get it repaired? Best I can think of now is to put some sort of clear tape on to stop it getting worse :(

Black roof, no windscreen wiper, no headrest. A 2022 model. Nice’n’orange though!

I’m due to collect mine tomorrow. Now I’m very intrigued to find out what colour the roof will be!!!

How charged does a 12v battery in an EV need to be? It’s not like it’s turning a starter motor over. I’d be interested to know what the current draw is…

Got a call from my dealer a couple of days ago. Got a delivery date now of end of June! (Ordered mid December, so 16 week estimated lead time has turned into about 26!) Orange trophy

I wonder how Perrys see build slot info when my dealer says they get no info till 3 weeks before? My old car is going to the scrapyard tomorrow, so the lack of info is quite annoying.

Spoke to a different person, and it’s not looking good for this month :( According to the latest info I was given “we hear literally nothing until about 3 weeks from delivery”. If it were down to me I’d go for the black trophy they have in stock. My kids are set on the orange one though!!
