Didn't get round to trying the battery, seems to have resolved itself. I think when I turned it off before I didn't leave it off long enough to reset it.
Didn't realise the hand brake light was also missing.
Was driving back from the shops last night and after 2-3 minutes the speedometer and motor power gauges disappeared. Can still see the middle bit with Amp voltage, can still switch to tyre pressure but can't see how fast I'm going.
Got home, tried turning it off and on again. No dice...
If using a home charger pre heat the battery, heat up the cabin to squeeze out some more miles.
Also when it's quite cold I find the battery readout isn't accurate, sometimes it sticks sometimes it reads low.
Something I've noticed on long descents is the Kers drops off after a while. I think the power goes to a capacitor first and when that's full the Kers drops to -40 amp as it can't charge the battery fast enough.
Or I could be talking crap.
Had this a few times. Had it drop 40% when it should only be 15-20%. Then it went back up to 73% and stayed there for 20 miles. Eventually it sorted itself out but it is a pain as you can't guarantee you've got the miles.
I mean I don't have Bluetooth on my phone normally, so I don't think the phone is causing it. I'll play about with it later and see if it works though.
