Yeah if you want to pay for the 15A socket install I would do the same. We are (or should be anyway) finally only months away from moving so I’m just using the 10A socket. Otherwise I would’ve looked into a 15A socket for this place as well.

I wonder what the cost savings are though, if any. Replacing a presumably cheap to make on/off switch with a potentially more expensive pressure switch might not necessarily have been a cost saving. Maybe the cost is comparable but the seat switch is thought to give a higher end feeling...

I think some of the UK owners have noted a change in the "drop speed in a corner" behaviour after some system updates, but I wouldn't be able to tell you the versions, and I'm pretty sure our Aussie cars are on their own software branch anyway. (although maybe not in case of the Xpower?)
