Mine came with 3.0 bar from the dealership, it dropped to 2.5 with the onset of colder mornings, so put some more air in. Now they hover around 2.6/2.7 in the morning, up to about 2.8/2.9 when driving for a while. TPMS alarms going off as the weather cools is not unheard of anyway.

When you are in AA, can you drag down the options menu from the top of the screen? Or do you have to go back to the main menu of the car before it lets you drag down? I believe this is what NLMGSAN is revering to.

I believe that is down to android and apple, they see it as a safety risk (software wise) or something. It’s been mentioned before on the forums but can’t fully recall what their reasoning was. It’s not a choice MG made though.

Doesn’t show up in the Australian app, I wonder if it’s related to us not having the options to remotely turn on heated seats, something the Europeans seem to get in their app. For some reason the Aussie app is disappointingly bare on functions it seems.

I agree, but I suspect MG would then claim the car would’ve warned about under inflation through the TPMS system, so they would then say it’s user error. And the TPMS system does seem to be calibrated to quite a high threshold, going by the numerous posts on the forum about cold weather setting...

I agree with the others, that gap isn’t right. I’d also like to mention that although the MG4 is considered cheap for an EV, I don’t think they are necessarily a cheap car, so don’t feel like you have to accept sub-standard experiences.

Really feel MG misread the room on that one, but it is in line with their goal of being in the top 3 sellers.

You could try Bridgestone themselves, it’s a bit of a long shot but they might be more inclined to protect their brand than MG appears to be. Bridgestone would also be more interested in knowing if they have a manufacturing defect in their tyres I would assume.

If the car has a known issue, don’t buy it. It’s not like these cars are rare gems, find an MG4 that doesn’t have that issue. Dealership seems desperate to sell this one, also not a great sign.

Could it be a system designed to save the motor from damage when the wheels start spinning? It may not be intended to act as a form of TC, even if it effectively does so.

Isn’t an off-grid system basically its own little “grid”? I guess V2H would be more accurate for an off-grid system then, regardless, the MG4 still doesn’t provide this.
