    Traffic sign Recognition

If the car hasn't seen a speed sign for a while it will show a blank speed sign on the drivers' screen, which leads me to believe it does not use navigational data. If it did, why would it stop advising of the speed limit?

Is it just me (sticker not straight)

Yeah I noticed that but I don’t have any stickers there at all is what I meant

    use mg4 in summer

Like @siteguru said it’s something you can activate remotely through the iSMART app. It’ll run for 10 minutes and just affects the cabin air, but is a real luxury on a hot day. I think it’ll let you run the cooling twice before it wants you to unlock the car with the key, haven’t really tested...

Is it just me (sticker not straight)

I also only have three (different) stickers? And seems to be in a different spot (B pillar on the drivers side) but at least they look pretty straight Edit; I noticed these are completely different stickers anyway, my Aussie car doesn’t seem to have a list of E numbers on it

    use mg4 in summer

Here in Western Australia the car has been baking in the sun for days with +40°C in the shade during the last heatwave and was absolutely fine to drive every day. Really appreciated the remote cooling option on those days

    Critical key bug detected

I think this was with a rental car so some of those wouldn’t apply maybe, but seat/mirror positions would still be a dead giveaway. And probably some personal items. Conversely, all these other things would probably be present on the other car, which should give away you didn’t get into your...

    Battery Tender / Trickle Chargers

The high voltage battery should top up the 12V as long as it has sufficient charge itself. I would charge the car to 70 or 80% before leaving.

Which car survey- Mg4 voted unreliable

I saw LDV is in a bit of trouble too https://www.accc.gov.au/media-release/ldv-automotive-australia-in-court-for-alleged-misleading-advertising

    26th April 25 - iSMART

Can confirm working for me. You can also set the charge percentage on the infotainment screen inside the car if the app won’t let you.

    MG4 Dead !!

I think the HV only tops up the 12v when the HV is above 50% soc. My source is a vague recollection from reading it somewhere on here so it may be nonsense.

    Lane Assist reactivation.

It could depend on what year the models were tested, they could both receive 5 stars but on different criteria. The current model 3 is unrated for instance. Edit: see @Mal Sydney beat me to it haha

    The "Coffee Cup" alert.

This is the MG4 forum, on the MG4 it cannot be disabled permanently. Perhaps ask for advise in the ZS Hybrid forum for a better response. https://www.mgevs.com/forums/mg-zs-hybrid-forum.80/ Although if it keeps coming back on it is most likely the same as the MG4 and a requirement for a high...

What do you think is the cheapest feeling part of MG4

I suppose you would make it a warranty issue anyway with the age of the car, but there is a thread about removing them, and there have been people who have painted them to get rid of the plastic look. I’m in two kinds about painting them, I think it looks great, but I also think the plastic...
