I think they all do this by design, some people like the neck snapping on take off but my guess is most people do not and would call the car uncomfortable for doing that, so I think MG designed the takeoff to be gentle even when you mash the throttle. It would be nice if it changed that...

Some cars have had this issue, it normally gets remedied with a bracket, but you’ll be looking at a replacement part I’d imagine. Let us know what MG ended up doing.

I pulled it until the car came to a stop, kept my foot on the accelerator and it took off again as soon as I released the parking brake. Braking with the gear selector in...
Because I don’t know what I’m talking about haha
A higher kW rating has nothing to do with a floating earth, right? So I’m just a little puzzled why some cars seems to be able to charge another EV but some (like mine) seem unable to the same. So maybe the earth connection (or lack thereof)...
Hmm… maybe it is related to the draw then? I’m sure the fault code (number of light flashes) indicates it was an earthing fault in my case, surely a different V2L adapter wouldn’t be able to change how the car handles earth?
If you can identify the vents are at fault, then I think you’d have a pretty strong case for the dealership to rectify this under warranty. I don’t know if there is a limited warranty on these things, but to me it sounds like these cars are too young for you to have to fix such a serious problem...
Is there a road side assist that could come and check your battery at home? Not sure if the MG road side assist does that to be honest.
And maybe there’s a tyre place nearer to you? They sometimes do battery checks, bc they’re fairly easy to swap out and good little income maker,
My shutters open whenever I run the A/C (and I’m stationary) but they don’t repeatedly open and close as far as I’m aware. I don’t know the behaviour when driving for obvious reasons.
Does your dealer advise you not to pursue because they don’t want to have to do the work? It might not cost you...
You could spend money on a lawyer, but such an escalation might make them even less willing to help you. I’m not saying that’s right, but that’s what I would expect.
It is scandalous you got ghosted by both the dealer and MG Australia though. Often going in in person to complain works best...
I think the light just reflects differently between the bumper and bonnet, there are two pictures I have of my orange MG4 that look like the bumper is ever so slightly different from the rest of the car.
I’ve only ever noticed it in certain pictures with overhead lighting like this.
Yeah I think the more interesting metric would be “return costumers” in this case. Everybody might want to get an MG because of the competitive pricing, but for the longevity of the brand they need to worry about how many people would by another one.
Also the CCU issue comes to mind, which is...
