MG brand type 2 charging cable, 5m long. In good used condition. I’ve now sold the vehicle so no longer required. Comes complete with carry bag. £30. Collection preferred.
I am sorry to hear your woes. After being left without my car for over 6 months following a series of breakdowns I had to take legal action. I can’t wait till the end of my PCP after which bye bye MG for good!
I’ve had this when the pipe connector for the rear wash wipe detached which sprayed washer fluid behind the dash, yes really. It’s an appalling design. The fluid caused the start stop switch to go crazy.
I wish you the best of luck getting this repaired. My 14 month old MG5 was replaced by the dealer as neither they or MG UK could fix the problem after >6 months of trying. I’m not saying the HV battery was the cause but it was constantly disconnecting the HV battery and throwing up multiple...
I wish you the very best of luck. I had to threaten legal action against the dealer to get my issue resolved. No more MGs for me and can’t wait to get rid!
Oh and just to add MG UK are about as useful as a chocolate tea pot and totally uninterested. They actually said to me “we don’t deal with...
I wish you the very best of luck. It took the dealer 6 months (I was carless over the whole period) to resolve my issue with no courtesy car except for 3 days when I pleaded with them. And MG UK don’t want to know either. Unfortunately will never buy another one
I’ve had this. It might be coincidence but it happened just after the pipe failed for the rear wash pipe which sprayed washer water inside the car behind the dash in front of the drivers seat. Went back to the dealer for repair and it hasn’t done it since.
Oh sorry to hear that. In the end, I had to threaten legal action via a solicitor who specialised in dispute resolution. It was expensive but it did the trick and got the dealers attention. Sad state of affairs, it seems car dealerships operate a bit like the Wild West! I’m sure there are good...
I agree with you. However I took delivery of the vehicle (to replace my precious MG5 which they couldn’t fix after 6 months of trying!) from the main dealer in January and only had the vehicle a week or so when the failure happened. The washer reservoir was filled when I got it and I would...
Mine was done under warranty. I was given the same story about full dash out job but I’m not convinced that was done or even necessary. Unfortunately just another in a long line of MG5 issues I’ve had. I mean, what decent design engineer puts a vulnerable join in an inaccessible position on the...
