Just get in the car and drive it, most of the rest is a distraction. I don't have home charging and have never used the battery heating. I have had no problems charging except for it being a bit slow to ramp up when it's really cold and have had the car for 3 years.

What I did notice:- If I didn't give it enough time from the instruction screen on how to update before starting the update it gave me an error message that the usb drive wasn't recognised. I had to wait around 1 min before dismissing the instruction screen.

Just updated mine today. drive had to be formatted to exfat to work

Very strange. My car wont go into drive or reverse UNTIL you put your foot on the brake. If you press the start without pressing the brake nothing happens except for a message saying to engage drive you have to press the brake.

Then it would seem you have a corrupt download.

Once you have downloaded the zip file you need to extract it and then copy the 'maps folder' to the empty thumb drive. If you delete anything from that folder it wont work.

From what I can see of the charging networks in Europe, it only seems to be a problem in the UK. 1 Expensive 2 Not a great deal of charging stations. 3 Prices vary according to KW power of the station.

I don't think Tesla has any type 2 connectors only CCS.

Only reason to turn battery heating on is to improve charging speed at DC charging stations when the outside temperature is low. Needs to be turned on 30 mins before you get to charger. If you are AC charging it wont make any difference.

My aircon stopped cooling in June car only 2.5 years old. Was making weird noises and not cooling. Took it in tested and was low on gas. Refilled and all couplings checked for leaks. Now works fine, free of charge.

Just found this on Youtube. https://www.youtube.com/@EverydaySandro/videos I thought I had a long journey, 1800 kilometres in France, with plenty of chargers. I wont ever complain again about the lack of them.

Only problem I have had is leaving the car powered on when trying to initiate a charge. It gives me HV disconnect. Car has to be in standby mode to start charge, after that you can power on the HV battery to see charging speed with no problems.

Bad connection wiggle contact about a bit or get some contact cleaner.
