Thanks for replying. So that means that any second hand car, unless bought from an MG dealer, can't be assured of the warranty being in effect? That seems odd!

Unclear, although mg seem to suggest that 2 years is the requirement? They have, I'm writing, said that it is still under warranty from MG, dated from May 2024.
