I have a 2021 MG5 and an Ohme Pro charger - am with Octopus (Loyal Octopus 12M Fixed). The charger will not recognise the cheap night rate and begins charging the car as soon as it is connected so is useless if you need to charge the car on overnight cheap rate despite having set the charge...

I removed the Homeplugs but that didn't make any difference - as soon as the wallbox is connected to the car the halo goes to red - aargh!!!

My experience with the wallbox has been totally frustrating. Unit installed on 6th October 2021 - it has never managed to deliver a charge - replacement unit fitted on 23rd November 2021 - that one hasn't worked either. Thinking that it might be the MG5 that was at fault I took it to a PodPoint...

Had a wallbox installed on 6th October 2021 - it didn't work - replacement fitted 23rd November 2021 - this one won't work either!!!! Tried car on charger at Lidl - worked on 22kWh and CCS without any issue. 'Granny' charger works fine!

That's encouraging news - thank you. Apparently a technician is going to arrive sometime next week to try and resolve the issue.
