According to the battery monitor there is only a trickle loss over time so I don't expect it needs much on our vehicle - I did look at the 20w+ solar panels but the efficiency seems to vary and the reviews on the AA 4.8w seems to suggest that it works fairly well. Humm.

IIRC the tap is on the 12V input to the cluster rather than the individual light outputs, so using the on/off buttons make no difference - only the strip comes on with door opening and go off when all doors are closed.
We’ve recently found that directing the fan on the screen helps driving without needing to demist although the rest of the car is still misted.
I have also seen on the forums that Teslas are suffering too if that’s any consolation!

V2L - Vehicle to Load | UK EV SHOP Cheap V2L worked for me - the V2L works with car locked too - from the 'Tesla charging' update I guess. One issue I see with this type of adapter is the weather proofing if you are worried about that.
