    Driving EV in snow

The back will let go way before the fronts, and will likely result in a crash. I did set an ICE car like that many years ago, and it was a nightmare to drive in low grip conditions. The front was rock solid and the back was way too tail happy.

    Ohme Charger and Octopus Go

I was emailed by Ohme earlier this week. They have a new version of the app due for release early ‘24. Let’s hope it’s a massive improvement 🤞🏻 (I was being asked to take part of the beta version, but by the time I responded, I couldn’t sign up 🤷🏻‍♂️)

MG ZS EV MK1 and Ohme ePod

We got our 2021 ZS exclusive in September. We are also on Intelligent Octopus Go, with an Ohme charger and it works well, apart from a couple of quirks. What does this warning picture mean?

    Home charger recommendations

If you are on Octopus, they offer cheap rate, 7.5p per unit, in between 23:30 and 05:30, but you one of two chargers - Ohme and Wallbox I think. 7.5KWh too 👍🏻

    Better headlights

Hi. Just bought our MG ZS Exclusive, and drove it home from Chester (270 miles - lots of charging needed, but that’s probably better on another thread). Wonderful car, in 1st impressions, but as mentioned, my vision was drastically reduced as it went dark and I hit the country lanes 😬. I will...

MG4 some basic (I hope!) questions....

Just that. I have just got my standard range MG4, and it’s worth bearing in mind that the car and the charger don’t talk to each other. Instead, you have to use the Ohme app, and tell it how much you want to charge the car by. It thinks that the car is at 0%. So, for example, if my car is at...
