Exactly the same. I removed the car from the EV app, and then 're-added' the car without linking it to the MG I smart app. Now I don't have to constantly log back into the MG app, and the car charger works fine, similar to how I used to charge my old MG5 EV.
I feel your pain Big L. I had similar problems as you know, with the T block causing the problems. Everything now seems to be fine. I have posted in another post (MGS5 12v battery dead) that I think that my 'EV app' may have caused problems.
