That's not normal behaviour and you shouldn't have to carry a jump start device to use on a regular basis. Have you disconnected the 12V battery to see if that resets things? You'll need to do a short drive afterwards for the error lights to clear.
Agreed 100%. I've not measured it exactly but suspect that the positioning of this is designed for LHD. I'm also definitely not as good as getting lined up properly when reverse parking in the MG5 than I used to be and I don't think it's just age...
Not tried that but going for a short drive worked for me after a 12v battery disconnect. Fault lights all disappeared as well as DAB radio stations previously stored!
Agreed re. WattsUp though last time I checked it wasn't available on Android Auto so unable to be used while driving. I've used Electroverse with AA to show nearest chargers which has been useful but WattsUp would be great on a journey!

Definitely sounds like the washer pipe has become disconnected. First thing is to get that fixed and get rid of any water. As you'll see from the posts linked above, this has happened a lot
