Hi, Does anyone know the max V2L output from the Short Range cars? Thanks (And sorry if I’m repeating a question that’s been answered I did have a look)

I work near the service centre in Ballymount. There was a load delivered the week before last week - the first one I’ve seen, so there are a few starting to trickle into the country.

The M3 didn’t work for me, the MY did (boot wise), but didn’t work from a price perspective. With this price change I’ll have to re-evaluate things! The MG4 was a compromise on a couple of fronts, but was possible to live with….possibly I’m lucky delivery has taken so long.

A guy fitting XL rated tyres on my s-max (XL for load) showed me the inside of a Tesla tyre he was fitting to a model S. It had a foam layer fitted to the inside, apparently to reduce the road noise - so was kind of EV specific.

You might be close to the limit, according to the manual, you need to disconnect the 12v battery if you’re leaving it for a month, and you need to charge it every 3 months: Note: It is recommended to set the power mode to READY for more than half an hour every week to help extend the service...

Does the emergency key slot into the body of the key a different way so you can use it for leverage? On our Ford you take out the key and the end of they key fits into a slot that’s exposed in the body of the key so you can turn it (I accept I’ve probably worded this badly).

I don’t have an mg4 (yet) but out of interest has anyone tried locking the car before unlocking it. If you press the lock key with the drivers seat unoccupied it might reset everything (locking it when the drivers seat is occupied may be disabled by the software). Just a thought.

There should be a SR Trophy, the SR would have had sufficient range for me, even if it dropped to 70%, and the time for degradation on LFP would have been longer. I wanted the heated seats and wheel, and the cameras - I may occasionally use the range, but it would have been fine to have to...
