Update to say I got the latest update for the pre-FL MG5 LR free of charge and managed to test it at a Tesla charger the other weekend and it worked.
Whether the dealer charges you for it or not seems to depend on the dealer.
From most of what I've seen on the forum it depends on the dealership unfortunately! I managed to get it done free of charge at Arnold Clark MG Edinburgh, but I think most people seem to be getting charged.
You just click "Find a Charger". When you set up the account you'll not have registered a Tesla (assuming that you don't own one). Due to this it only shows those chargers that are open to all EVs. There isn't any specific to MG.

Mine is a 22 plate which the MG Arnold Clark in Edinburgh have said there's an update available at no cost to me. Was it them who you spoke to as well @Archev? Have you tried any other dealers out of interest?
