DON’t panick! It’s the same battery pack as the MG4 and has been in use for over 3 years now. This looks like an isolated/rare occurrence, certainly the only one I’ve seen heard of so far. It’s also possible it’s due to an external cause and not the battery itself that caused the problem.

What charger were you using? From a very low start, a single phase charger should take something like 10hrs - a 3 phase charger probably 6-7 hrs!

Basic driving rules apply - indicate when pulling out to pass anything, parked or not! And if anyone says “but you only have to indicate your intention to other road users”, well how can you be sure someone isn’t about to step out or open a door as you pass?

They are essentially the same car. Apart from the rear wiper (I applied rain-X to the rear screen, no problem!) and the middle headrest (most owners seem to remove them as they block the view) and the 1-pedal driving (I wouldn’t want it, you also can’t use it if the battery is above 90% SOC)...

When you first plug in, the Zappi sometimes does a short “test charge” to verify the comm’s etc. you don’t need to force stop it as it only charges for a minute or so then goes into standby.

Sounds like a low/faulty12V battery, or terminals not tight.

I wouldn’t recommend it. It could result in reading either max or min possible temperature, a blown fuse or another system fault
