Yes still 2 actions far from ideal. Can be dangerous and often no place to pull over on really twisty roads... anyway to replace this pull-down with Driver Preference with all your preferred settings I think would be the way to go .. Or add another icon on the same pulldown menu.

Yes it seems its a matter of choice, you are covered you can leave it on permanently .... some of us just want to be able to turn it off permanently, MG can make us all happy if they wish.

I think it really depends on our individual driving styles, no body is saying get rid of it all together we are simply saying allow us to make the decision, if we like leave it on, if not leave it off it.

I find most reviewers really aren't driving it as it deserves to be driven, so they really have no idea how well it performs, these are the ones that convinced me to short list it but if anyone else knows of any that really give it heaps let us know:

I agree driver profile will do the trick, some other car brands do this and it works very well, some even link it to your individual key automatically setting your preferences, the two keys are linked to two different drivers. But the pull down driver menu would be perfect.

I’m in Australia also and can only charge at 1.5kw with the granny charger, the power point I’m using can actually deliver up to 15 amps (240v) constantly so that really isn’t the issue, I guess maybe it is the MG granny chargers in Aus are only 8amp as said? I only picked my car up 3 days ago...
