It's the max speed limit setting! It drove me nuts for weeks. Somehow, it turns itself on - mine came on limiting (or telling me) that I was exceeding 20mph. I had to go to the dealer to have it turned off, but only one of them knew of its existence.

I have the same car and easily get a range of 225 miles, even in February. I must have a very light right foot, however I rarely exceed 60 mph. I have eco on at all times and driving set to comfort and maximum regen.

It may have done. I am a new MG4 (23) owner and my Xiaomi 5 running Android 11 attaches via Bluetooth with no worries. My other work phone however (Huawei P Smart with Android 9) requires the cable, which is annoying as other devices may need the usb port.

Sorry to hear that, but this advice may be useful to MG4 owners.

I have found that newer phones (Android 11 +) will connect without a cable and work well, leaving the USB socket clear. Doesn't exactly answer the question but can solve this problem in a way.
