I live in a very unlit area in the countryside. I found the screen to bright on its lowest setting But I noticed, when I set it to minimum, it was ok, but next time I used it, it was brighter, even though the setting was still at its lowest I then set it a fraction higher, that seemed to help!

I'm not sure, I think that the front radar does also use a combination windscreen camera in some circumstances. Certainly some of the error messages are when the windscreen camera is fogged or iced up
