Incidentally, it looked like he'd put steel wheels on, which is a good idea in certain conditions. I don't think there are any official MG4 ones, and the resellers don't seem to list them so does anyone know off-hand what other makes would fit a 2022 SE??
Oh dear Rolfe, has the video been giving you ideas?!
In my case I think I'm going to go and practise on a skid pan before hitting the snow next winter!
That sounds like a complication of the issue. How old are the kids, and can't you all travel light if it's a summer trip? Extra socks/t-shirts/underwear can always be tucked away in zip-lock bags in any spare spaces.
If you are going to more rural areas a granny might be a useful back up. A...
I've only done France and Italy and there you shouldn't have any problems., nor in Lux/Netherlands/Germany. I'd certainly do more planning in places like North Macedonia and Hungary though, so perhaps that's where you should concentrate any planning.
Remember guys, you are part of that traffic!
I fancy heading in the other direction from South coast to 't'North and visiting friends in Yorkshire, Scotland then even further north. I've a portable induction hob as well as kettle, a smallish Decathlon tent which I really must practice pitching...
Yes, something I've long found annoying. New estates going up locally with not a panel in sight, my regualr rail trip to a nearby city passing plenty of those two panels surrounded by tiles, and where the fixed and inverter costs must be massive as a proportion of total cost..
I'd hoped the new...
Probably because a rider like that doesn't want to cede more control to the pony, who knows what they're doing. I reckon two more pints on those pub rides and my horse would have got me home!
Thanks for the other information: maybe not looking tonight, it's a long thread!
There's always Octopus Agile to consider to see if it meets your own circumstances. It varies in price greatly: Friday I used 37.57 kWh including topping up the car and paid 43.48 pence as it was negative for 5 hours overnight. This last week before then had been bad with little wind (or solar!)...
Haven't ridden for years but not sure that horse would even be any good for the South Downs pub rides I used to go on... Amazing how a couple of pints improves your seat at the same time as minimising the fear of falling off.
But interesting thread, and I must chuck a few rods in the car one...
"Big car! Small p****k?"
Only to be done out of the window and in Drive.. Not something I'd do myself, you understand, but I believe in Australia the rules are different. :-)
Don't worry, I used to live in the Alps, but a rear wheel drive MG4 SE is a bit different to a solid Fabia!
No doubt there are better vehicles for the snow but I was certainly never embarrassed by the Fabia, but the MG4 is my first rear wheel drive car.
My best friend (she's on my MG4 insurance..) made sure her office staff went out on site for the day on customer visits and alarm installations and maintenance. It's all part of understanding the business and doing a better job.
I think the mechanic at my local dealers knows his stuff but the...
My first car lost me £30 over 10 months but I did additionally have to put in some new alternator brushes and got a nose bleed taking off the steering wheel for some wiring repairs done by a friend (I'm not very mechanical).
After that I didn't really notice depreciation: never spent more than...
