Yes it is a software problem. There is a cure but it may cause your star keys on the steering wheel to stop functioning as on mine and many others. I am still waiting for a further update to cure the latest issue.

Happened to me also which I also put down to setting off before the infotainment screen had time to load up fully before I reversed out of a supermarket car park spot. Came back on the next time I used the car. The screen was more a fuzzy green screen though not a solid green.

It is a 3 speed box, sort of a 3 speed variable transmission I believe.

Got my car back from the dealer and speed recognition working heating system working but now as everyone else has experienced after the update the star keys are not working, just resets to vehicle on the main menu. Further update the dealer has had to order a new part for the heating system which is now on back order and won't be delivered for 3 weeks so now in a courtesy car for the foreseeable as our car is unusable with no heater etc. Let's see if this fixes the problem, I remain sceptical and very...

Just had this problem fixed by a recall update to be then presented by the heating system malfunctioning! The dealer therefore has had to keep it in to try and sort this new issue before I could even leave the forecourt!

Yes it is set to 19, still on auto but with air from the outside, this has fixed the steaming issue.
