It`s not, it`s white crumbly tiny flakes, kind of like the white stuff that develops on battery terminals. It has diminished now as a few days a week I defrost it with the fan at full pelt, must have pushed most of it out.

I`ll get it in in spring for the annual service and have them look at that as well. It`s minor and not worth the trouble of not having the vehicle for a few days if it can be coupled with the service.

Just ordered a pair of heated glass mirrors for my Excite. Checked the fuse compartment and there is no wiring for the heated mirrors. My plan is to route cables from the rear window heater fuse to the mirrors, this way you get the benefit of having a timer and activate them with the exiting...

Mine has developed the same behaviour, what was the outcome on yours, is it worth getting it into MG ? Or will they just clean it and hope it doesn't eat itself up and loose the refrigerant in the process

Having a closer look on mine, there is an indent I the chrome detail above the radar unit as if I've hit smtg ( don't remember hitting anything). The radar unit was skewd to one side, straightening it doesn't cleared the error. Calling the garage today to see what availability they have ...

My prefacelift LR just done this one today, everything relying on forward facing radar failure. Have you had any response from MG ?

Just done the pressure on mine at a Shell garage to 2.2 on the compressor display. TPMS is showing exactly 2.2 for all 4, but as a rule, I do trust the TPMS, dials on tyre inflators are way off, even for high price ones. The garage compressors are usually spot on but you do find some that are a...
