I occasionally get fluid (feels like silicon oil) slowly leaking down the inside of the windscreen, from the left hand side of the mirror pod. Any ideas?

Have you tried force closing the app, clearing the memory cashe (not data) and try the app again. Works for me when i have app issues.

Please make sure you report this to your dealership. It needs a technical ticket raising to mg China. It's a bug in the software but until they get enough "complaints" they won't do anything about it. My car worked perfectly until the software for the radio module was updated to the latest...

I used to be able to remotely set the temp to high, defrost, change the tempsetting using the sliding bar etc but since a software update at service it will only remotely set to 17 deg. Trophy on 73 plate. It's going into dealers next month for them to - hopefully - fix

Recently used my phone app to "pre warm" the car... 2023 mg5. Ii I select demist (i expect full fan, full heat and aircon) if i just select "high" i would expect much the same directed into the passenger compartment. However, it doesn't matter what i select the car setting is always 17 deg with...

Pull the rear seat pad up (it unclips) and you will have an almost flat loading floor. I've transported a "water rower" in mine. Front seat moved as far foward and tilted forwards. Was tight fit. For a lot more room you could remove the front passenger seat

You can buy wallets that block the signals, called a Faraday pouch, signal blocking pouch, etc. They are cheap. Also keeping your keys in a tin at home, and not near the front door will help.

Maximum advertised range for trophy (or long range) at 100% is 250. At 80% it's about 210 / 220 for me Your gom is possibly very optimistic... or you have an amazing style and get huge miles/ kWh.

Long range

My 2023 mg5 trophy... with gentle driving... but heated seats, demist aircon, lights on etc.. colder weather, 80% charge, the guessometer will say about 175 miles. That's jumped back to over 200 now it's a bit warmer.

The round control on the centre console effectively disconnects the motor when it's pressed. Using the levers for auto hold or brake keep the motor connected maintaining drive mode.

The cold weather has killed my battery range! But I'm still going to use cabin heater, aircon ( to reduce steaming up) and seat heaters (just to take the chill out the seats) the "leather" seat covers are much colder to sit on than velor type materials
