Had the service done today, mentioned the problems with scheduling and charge limit ignored and they have installed a couple of patches related to those two issues. They say it's now working as it should. I haven't had the opportunity to try it yet though.
Well, seems it wants to charge at every opportunity now and not wait for my charging schedule :ROFLMAO:. I knew I should have chalked a pentangle round the thing.
I get the feeling the dealerships are having to fight on our behalf, I believe MG wanted to put me through another round of software updates but the dealership insisted on "doing the right thing"
I think that would be the right thing to do (recall). I also think there is a supply issue with the CCUs. I don't know how many phase 1 long range models are in the wild but I wouldn't have thought it's a trivial number.
I hope that when I get the replacement fitted it's not another from the...
Mine won't charge from the granny charger either, I think some others have reported the same. It would be interesting to know the cause of the problem, maybe we'll find out.
Totally agree, I thought the spoiler on the Trophy was a bit OTT but I also thought the SE looked like something was missing / had been removed, so I went for the Trophy. All other things being equal I would have gone for the SE long range.
I don't use the car a lot so I've been in the habit of charging between 60% and 80%. I'm going to change that to 40% to 80% which is what seems to be recommended by the 'health mode' on the battery display. A couple of times it charged up to 100% because for some reason my schedule got changed.
