Nothing you can do with a VIN mismatch?? Does that mean the radar has come from an SE (I’ve put it on a trophy)? Surely that’s the only explanation. But even that seems strange
Yeah reprogrammed and now the car drives again - just need to sort out the new front camera and front radar. Camera doesn’t want to be calibrated and radar is showing up as ‘VIN doesn’t match’ so going to save that fun for this weekend
Hey all, update on the above. Realised my laptop was causing the issue as my VNCI wouldn’t connect when my laptop was charging. I appreciate all your responses - an extremely helpful forum that I’ve used from the beginning of this crash damage repair project 👍
I have realised my laptop was what was stopping me from connecting to SIPs. I’m now on and I’m trying to reconfigure my module
Essentially as soon as I plug my laptop into charge the VNCI connection fails. Can you use wifi connection for SIPS?
Yea it sounds like I need to find access to SIPS somehow if I want to reprogram it. But with the car not turning on, there’s surely no way. I think my laptop chose to screw up on the worst module it could have
I think I have found the reason it disconnected originally. For whatever reason my VNCI just keeps disconnecting at random point. I’m trying to get this live data. I have been messing around with the display and managed to get the screen up on the car which is more life than I’ve had since it...
Struggling to share it on here as it only allows images - I have communication with the BCM - alot of the fault codes relate to 'invalid data from this module'
Oh wait - here it is
