Finally got to the bottom of it.. the charge port I bought second hand was missing the electronic lock on the car side.. I bought another and this came with the lock in place, which happily took the spare cable I had at the front!

Hi Arthur, thanks for taking the time to reply! I've got all the following located and plugged in: - 2 x front crash sensors - 2 x horns - bonnet close sensor - two plugs into front charge port (2 12v plugs that is ignoring the HV) one on the car side and one on the charge port flap side...

If anyone knows all the sensors/connectors that are at the front of an MG ZS, then that would help as I could eliminate those I already know

Which dealer did you use? The quote I got for the cruise radar from mine was excessive in my view
