On my pre-FL LR I'm not sure it makes a difference. With the temperature at 4C and the car on my drive in 'Ready' mode, switching the battery heating on made no observable difference to the current draw of c.2A
On a recent road trip in consistent 4C weather I tried with battery heating on prior...
Just booked mine in for diagnostic test. Service guy said he thought it wouldn't work below 5C. I don't have much faith in their level of awareness on this!
I've been considering fitting a dash cam to my Mk1 5LR. When I mentioned this at the service desk of the MG dealer they advised against it because they said it might interfere with the operation of the lane keep & CC functions in the mirror mount. I think they implied some sort of radio...

Belated thanks! I should have read the handbook a bit more closely. Having just bought a Mk1 LR we're now a 2 EV household 😀 so I was just swapping the MG5 and the Zoe around on our drive, hence not using the seatbelt.
The Auto Hold function on my non-facelift MG5 LR has stopped working. It's been fine, worked perfectly and now it won't switch on at all. I've tried in P and D, footbrake pressed and not. Nothing!
Has anyone else had this happen? And is it a portent of other random upcoming software errors that...
