According to my information, the map material is still version 3rd quarter 2023. Our models use "here" maps. The USB stick update should only apply to older models that use different software.
Without the HA Integration , however, it does not ask constantly (about every 60 minutes). Attached is the history with only the original MG app.
Unfortunately, with the MG app, it goes into deep sleep after a few hours and you no longer have access. This is particularly annoying in winter...
I first had the mqtt version (0.9.8) and now I have the integration you linked to (0.9.6). I have a battery monitor on the 12v battery. And you can see very clearly how it checks every 60 minutes. However, the voltage then drops accordingly. Will this be acceptable in winter? The screenshot...
That's right, the PHEV has "only" a 2-speed gearbox. The petrol engine is connected to the electric transmission and thus transmits power continuously, unlike a DSG transmission. In addition, a 60 kW generator is integrated, which continuously recharges the battery. Even my dealer didn't know...
@jamakr4 ,Thank you very much for the tip. This means that I can now use Home Assistant and MG to access the vehicle without the MG app constantly displaying a "token expired" message. However, I am still a little concerned that Home Assistant will constantly wake up the car and drain the 12V...

I...

It would be important to always have access, especially for heating or cooling the interior. But this doesn't make sense. I can wake up the car with...
Are we now only going to trust AI? It's also nice that the "great" AI shows the old PHEV 😉. Don't believe everything you hear – the HS PEHV 2025 does not have a heated steering wheel.
The 2-pin micro adapter also fits into the 3-pin fuse slot. I didn't pay close attention, but I plugged the 2-pin micro adapter into an empty 3-pin slot for 12V continuous current. For ACC, I measured a 2-pin fuse with a measuring device and plugged the adapter in there.
I got mine last week, first registered on may 2025 . It still has r46. What surprises me is that there are repeated reports that r46 has problems with the star keys. I can assign the keys without any problems. Is it really a software problem for some people, or could it be hardware-related?
