Question for those that regularly make longer journeys

We start planning a charge at 40% in our 5Lr with a similar range to your zs lr as that gives us a decent contingency. Charge to 80-90% then do the same. We have a 3 and 6 yo so chances are we will need to stop every 2 hours anyway.

    New Car Sanitization.

Based on positive cases you're significantly more likely to catch it in a dealership than in the Chinese manufacturing plant.

Richard Hardie Sunderland - MG Dealer Discussion, Opinions & Experiences

Dealt with Ashton Lally. He was great to deal with unlike most salesmen. Not pushy at all, got a few hundred quid extra for part ex, and threw a mug in too.

    Charging in France

That's good to know as we are renewing our DLP annual passes next year (skipped this year as we were desperate to get on a plane to somewhere sunny). Are the chargers still free in DLP? I agree about Alton Towers. It's a 180 mile drive for us so if they had a bank of destination chargers we...

Vic Young South Shields - MG Dealer Discussion, Opinions & Experiences

Spoke to Vic Young on a Wednesday and they advised they had a 5 LR in for a test drive. I range on the Friday to arrange a time but they had sold the car the previous day and told me no new LRs in the UK until August. Disappointed I called another garage in the North East. They had a demo, and...

    Brand Image

I wanted to own an MG6 since Jason Plato and Sam Tordoff debuted the car in the BTCC. That never happened but I've always followed this new revived MG since. I don't think it swayed my decision to buy but it did make me more aware of the brand and I'd imagine, outside of the touring car faithful...

    When's the next MG5 delivery?!!

It was the opposite at our dealer. No excite, only exclusive.

    When's the next MG5 delivery?!!

It looks like it. The proactive dealers are getting the sales where the reactive ones are left with huge wait times

    When's the next MG5 delivery?!!

Yep, one dealer suggested August, this dealer guaranteed by the end of March. 10 mile between them. Weve gone silver. The dealer was getting black, white and silver. We weren't keen on black and, whilst we haven't seen a silver car, the swabs looked nicer than the white car we test drove.

    When's the next MG5 delivery?!!

    When's the next MG5 delivery?!!

yeah it was the sales managers car I drove, white one. 2.9 miles per kwh, he obviously drives it swiftly! Hopefully you'll get yours soon. Vic Young sold their demo last Thursday otherwise I would have went with them and maybe even purchased their demo. We're in that position I think a lot of...

    When's the next MG5 delivery?!!

My last car (a Nissan Leaf) was purchased from Richard Hardie in Ashington and they were the most incompetent, lying, untrustworthy dealer I had ever dealt with. However, 5 months is a long time, and hopefully Sunderland can redeem themselves on behalf of their Ashington colleagues. I knew a...
