I have a Jaguar I-Pace and similarly, it goes to sleep after a few days and needs to be woken up by opening the car etc. I think it's just the manufacturers trying to reduce power when not used for a while.

As you say, totally subjective. I actually prefer the 'red' interior with the yellow as it's not really red. Almost a dark tan. Whatever, I like it and my dealer said it was the more popular choice, so not just me.
