I don't think the Octopus has something to do with that issue. This is typically controlled by the car. I am pretty sure that if you try on another charging station brand, this won't change.

I also had this problem in the past and it has appeared after an update (to the car). An additional update performed afterwards corrected the problem. You need to contact your MG dealer to perform the last update in your car, especially the BMS related one. Moderator: Added "to the car".

I can also confirm that it is the SC077, that I also made. After it was done, all LKA problem are gone.

Hi, There is an update under the code: SC077 that definitely fixes the lane assist problems. Since I have it, I just do not care anymore about it, I jump in the car and drive :)

I had the SC077 update done last week and tested the car during two days for a bit more than 300kms. I now can say that I have the impression to drive a new car (y)😇:) No more "pre-flight" check, just jump in and drive... LKA is now gentle like it had to bee. There is still some work to have...

It is probably a software update question. and I need to convince the dealer to do it. Apparently, they are not paid by MG when they do software updates, so they are not very willing to do them :confused:

Pay attention on debadging: the badge is so well glued, that you'll have to destroy it to take it off. Even by heating it, it will be damaged when you pull it. I removed mine and finally I replaced it by a new one, that I painted in black before. This because I do not like the plastic black...

This seems to be the first version, which was the shallow one.

In my opinion, this seems to be due to a poor quality charging cable :unsure:
