I was told by the MG dealer when mine was changed that they ad to take a grinder to them and then scrapped and under no circumstances should they go back on another car.
Just been told by MG Dealers in leeds to leave the issue for them to sort out under warranty and not to have a go at a repair myself so it’s booked in 3 weeks time
I was going to do a repair myself with some spring clips that I’ve ordered but I’m thinking of going down the warranty route so they can’t say that my repair as caused any potential bigger problems.
Ad this happen to me today pipe came off anyone got any ideas of what to use instead of cable ties also the OD diameter of the pipe or what do MG use to fix the problem thanks for any help.
I’ve just tried mine it wouldn’t connect but when I looked outside the side lights was on my car and the heater ad activated but app says it wouldn’t connect weird.
Its all good now since about 15.00 it’s responding with app unsure if it will sort the long term problem with it my thoughts was something wrong with MG servers let’s see
Been to MG a few hours ago and can’t get it booked in until 28th January but as from about 10ish today it won’t respond at all no matter what I do to the car or app done a hard reset to 12v and uninstalled app sat in car etc.
