Glad you like it. There is a way to change the consumption figure to show miles per kw. It took me a while to figure it out. Next time I’m in the car I’ll see if I can find it again and let you know.
The Long Range has an LFP battery and needs a regular 100% charge. I have no idea why ismart gives you the option to set the target charge to below 100% as it simply does not work. The way around this is to work out how many Kws you want to put into the car and set the timer on your EV charger...
I discovered this badge which is stuck onto the inside of the passenger sun visor. The QR code takes you to a handover video on the main MG website. Irritatingly the video is all about the first generation Trophy version and not the new Premium.
The conspiracy theorist in me wonders why the...
I have iSmart on both my iPhone and iPad.
Go to the settings icon on iSmart (bottom tight hand side) then select Secondary Account
But not sure if that answers your question
Maybe I am tempting fate here……,
So far every time I have fired up iSmart to preheat the car, run a health scan or simply check the battery charge level it has connected first time (including on frosty mornings). This is a huge improvement on my old Trophy which was very unreliable.

I haven’t yet seen on Ali Express (or elsewhere) a made to measure liner for the MG4 Premium central cubby box.
This Perspex box from Home Bargains (bargain at 99p) is a decent temporary liner. As it’s a bit smaller than the orifice you still have access to the USB and cigarette lighter...
Just got notification of the new Octopus Go London rate from April
Day 28.24
Night 5.49
Standing charge 45.47
I wonder why there are such big regional variations in price.
The standing charge of 60p per day is steep and would amount to £55 pa more than my current 12 month fix on Octopus Go.
A quick look suggests the Eon night rate covers whole house usage, not just EV charging - something they have given contradictory information about in the past.
Given my...
Am selling the after market frunk from my Trophy as it does not fit the new Premium. It’s deep enough for a charging cable - see photo (coffee cup is there for scale).
Fixing is easy - remove the existing cover plate by releasing the plastic trim clips / push pins (second photo). Lay frunk in...

It is a refresh but it has a new name - Premium instead of Trophy. It’s the Premium name which was not widely available when I set up my insurance last week. .
