Mine does this occasionally, just press the navigation symbol to start the sat nav and it will work again. I suspect because I very rarely use the sat nav it "forgets" to turn on on when starting up.

Don't forget the S5 is rear wheel drive. If you floor it in sports mode on a slippery road it would be very easy to swap ends, especially for people who might never have driven a rear wheel drive car.

I agree, I used to get lots of warning beeps in my FL5 (cars on sharp bends cars coming from the left at junctions etc), but I haven't had one in my S5. So either the system is vastly improved or it isn't working, might have to try the large cardboard idea.
