Ahh OK, I incorrectly assumed all cars had the RBRM unit (some without DAB chip installed). So by that logic, acquiring this unit means it has DAB (as the non DAB cars did not have RBRM). Definitely a route I am looking into thanks.

Thanks again for your help... I suppose knowing that the crashed car had working DAB in the first place is the tricky bit also.

Really helpful information thanks. I have this pre face-lift model also. Can I ask who you got to 'install and configure' the module you acquired. I am wondering if it is a specialist programming job or 'plug and play' repair.

Was your seatbelt plugged in correctly. I notice the brakes do not release when seatbelt is not fully engaged.

No heated windscreen on my 72 plate hs phev. Only a button that directs the air con to the windscreen.

Did you find out anymore regarding this software update?

Mine is now around 10k miles and still the same. Like you, I was hoping this would get a little better over time.

Hi All - from new, my HS Phev has an annoying vibration in the throttle pedal when the ICE runs. Is this common for this vehicle or does anyone else experience this? (it almost feels like a poor engine mount) Thanks.

Is the petrol engine running when you experience this? I get a similar feeling like the car seems to lurch more under braking at certain times but think it's linked to the petrol engine auto box changing gear (or something like that). Almost like losing the effect of engine braking as it changes...

I would also be very interested to know how to do this.
