Same logic here Steve. Although I'm a low mileage user and manage to top up most days with free solar to cover the few locally miles I drive.

Makes sense, but it came as a bit of a surprise for someone who normally uses OPD.

I found it locked the regen in [1].

I accidentally reset mine last week so can't submit a report for December. However I did a 90 mile trip today starting off at -2.6C and smattering of snow. Temp went up to +2 when I reached home and I managed 3.4 m/kwh which i wasn't displeased with.
