They're usually limited to certain groups, like MG Affinity is. Groups like first responders, armed forces personnel, employees and their immediate family, etc. It varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. Affinity is (I think) rare in that you can qualify by simply joining the owner's club.

There are several eligibility options detailed on MG's website. That seems to be the easiest to comply with.

Join the MG owner's club, and you'll be eligible for Affinity prices after 3 months.

It would involve multiple hardware changes which MG are extremely unlikely to do until they facelift the MG4 in a year or two.

This is precisely why I use Android Auto for navigation instead. At least Google updates their maps occasionally!
