    Plain sill protectors

Yes these are the ones I got (5 piece set). Took about 2 weeks to ship to UK. Take care with positioning them as it's difficult to move them when stuck, but they do a great job.

    Plain sill protectors

Thing to watch for is the plain ones are not quite square (or rather oblong!), have to be a bit careful when cutting/sticking. Suggestion would be to line the tape on the outside of the sill and hide the cut edge under the door seal. Apols if this is obvious!

For Sale Full set of plain sill protectors for MG S5

Full set (10 items) of plain stick-on sill protectors for the MG S5. They are shaped and handed so you need to work which sill they fit. They look like heavy duty "sticky back plastic" but stick really well and protect the whole width of the sill. Also available are a set of protectors with...

    Plain sill protectors

Finally got these plain sill protectors from MGTitan fitted: They stick like s**t so it's important to get the alignment right first time. I decided to fit the boot protector as well - you can see the strip when the boot is shut but as the colour matches the bumper I reckon it's ok...

S5 arrived today as planned - couple of questions.....

Beware when you use manual headlights, as @Ian Key says remember to turn them off before getting out as you don't get a warning when opening the door! Why did MG forget this?!!

For Sale MG S5 Mudguards (not mudflaps) for rear wheels

Due to duplication of orders, I have a spare set of mudguards for the MG S5 EV. These are brand new, not been fitted, and come with all necessary fixings. They protect the rear doors from crud, and get rid of that awkward corner on the rear door sill. Can send at cost (c. £3-7 depending on method).

    Mudguards

The fittings finally arrived and mudguards are now fitted. As @shadowman said, the existing screws and poppers can be re-used, the only critical extras are the spring clips. I'm not an ace mechanic, but these were an easy install. They look good, and will protect the rear door seals from getting...

Thanks - do they cover the whole width of the sill?

    Cheap boot mat idea

I wanted a rubber boot mat but not a moulded one. Got a piece of 1m square by 3mm thick rubber matting from ebay (£9) and was going to cut it to size, but found it folded nicely up the sides, and I was able to protect the inner sill with it. The 3mm sheet fits under the closed tailgate without...

Sill protectors - MGClubs v MGTitan

Ordered what I thought would be plain sill protectors from MGClubs as I was getting multiple things from them (these) but what arrived had an ES5 logo on them - not what I wanted. Heads up in case anyone else is thinking of ordering them. (Note - all other stuff in the order was fine!) The...

    Mudguards

Thanks for the replies. I checked shadowman's post and his came with fixings. I could perhaps re-use the screws and poppers but there are new spring clips which are needed to clamp the guard in place. I've raised an issue with the supplier.....

    Mudguards

I ordered a set of mudguards for the S5 from AliExpress. They were delivered today - but there were no fittings enclosed, just the plastic mouldings. Have others experienced this? The webpage implies there should be fixings included:
